Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty is a surgical operation aimed at modifying the structure of the external nose. It can be motivated by functional problems or by an aesthetic problem.

There are four types of Rhinoplasty described briefly as under:

• Closed Rhinoplasty. All incisions are hidden inside the nose with no external scars.

• Open Rhinoplasty.

• Secondary or Revision Rhinoplasty.

• Liquid Rhinoplasty or Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty.

In rhinoplasty, there are many benefits like:

• Increasing or decreasing the size of the nose.

• Altering the shape or size of the tip of the nose.

• Making the nose straighter.

• Removing a bump from the bridge of the nose.

• Altering the size of the nostrils.

• Building up a nose that seems too flat.

• Flattening out a nose that seems too pointed.
